Valentines Day!


Heart Shaped Whoopie Pies in Traditional Chocolate, Red Velvet, or Vanilla with a marshmallow creme filling. $1.75 each / $18 dozen
 
 Decadent Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.   $8 Half Dozen /  $16 Dozen
 
Cake Truffles: homemade strawberry cake crumbled and mixed with smooth cream cheese icing, then dipped in Belgian white chocolate; or yellow cake mixed with rich chocolate icing and dipped in Belgian chocolate.  $1.25 each / $13.50 dozen


Tasty Red Velvet Sweetheart cupcakes with a thin chocolate cookie all covered in powdered sugar. $1.50 each / $15 dozen

Easter

Easter will be here soon, and the Scarlett Pumpernickel is already scheming...  Our 'special' Easter menu will have some of our favorites and some new desserts on the block.  Any suggestions are always appreciated, because we love to try new things!



We will be offering our best-selling egg-shaped Whoopie Pies and Cake Truffles (in a flavor combination of your choice...see menu page). These will be priced the same as on the standard menu.







We are also bringing out an all-time favorite: Iced sugar-cookies, in the style of Easter. That means bunnies and eggs, butterflies and chicks (as in baby chickens, just thought we would clarify).  $7.50 per dozen / 75 cents each.



And we are really excited about this last option! We were looking for some way to incorporate a nest into a pastry and stumbled upon something called a kadaif (which is like shredded phyllo dough) nests.  We're still debating what to fill it with: either the type of nut mixture associated with Baklava, or a home-made pie filling (blueberry or strawberry) and garnishing with fresh fruit. We will post our own picture when we play with the recipe this coming week, and let you know more.

Standard Menu Items

Hello all,

Valentine's orders were beyond my expectations, so thank you!  I'm trying to decide on some standard items for my permanent menu. If there is a type of pastry or chocolate that you really like, but is something a little difficult or time consuming to make at home, let me know...it may end up on the menu!

Since the whoopie pies were such a hit, the traditional chocolate with vanilla cream, a vanilla with strawberry cream, and a chocolate with peanut butter cream whoopie pie will be on the permanent menu.

Valentine's Treats

Accepting orders for pick-up or delivery for Monday 14th until Friday 11th. (2 days notice required for orders requested before Monday.)Specific cake or cookie requests accepted.


Pick-up or Delivery within 5 miles of Waynesboro – Free
Delivery from 5-15 miles of Waynesboro - $2.50
Delivery from 15-30 miles of Waynesboro - $5.00

Red velvet, heart-shaped cakes filled with homemade fluffy vanilla cream. Also available in chocolate and vanilla-chocolate chip and classic round.

$1.50/each or $16 for a dozen.

Red velvet cake truffles, filled with cream cheese frosting, coated with white chocolate, and a red chocolate heart design.  Rich chocolate cake truffles, filled with fudgy frosting, coated with milk chocolate, and decorated with pink & red candy sprinkles.

$7 for a half dozen (either all one variety or half of each).

Fresh Strawberries hand dipped in milk chocolate and, if desired, covered in white drizzle, nuts, or other topping.

$20 per dozen (for plain chocolate) $25 per dozen for assortment of your choosing (limit of 3 varieties per dozen)

Bite-sized Pecan or Caramel-Apple Pies.  Other varieties available upon request.
